Warning: It is very important for the Plastic Plate to be mounted on an ideally flat position for the navigation system operate accurately.
In the package:
Required tools
- Double-side tape
- A level
- A degreaser
- A wiper
Prepare the plastic plate
- Grab the Plastic Plate and locate the bottom side. The top is marked with the sign “Front”.
- Place the Plastic Plate on a flat position with the bottom side facing up.
- Spray the degreaser on the bottom of the Plastic Plate and wipe it until the surface is dry.
- Cut 6-8 two centimeter long pieces of tape.
- Remove the covers from one side of the 6-8 pieces of tape.
- Stick the tape with the uncovered side to the rounded edges of the Plastic Plate ensuring that the space between the pieces of tape is no larger than 2 cm.
