Discription of problem:

Reason: Why this happens (technical background).

When a user sets Point A or Point B while the vehicle is stationary, the application continues to record high-precision RTK points. Because the vehicle is not moving, these points "drift" slightly. When the system then automatically extends the navigation line to the field boundary, it uses the final (drifted) point rather than the intended directional vector, resulting in incorrect loops or angled lines.

Detailed Observations (technical background)

  • Static Accumulation: While stopped, the controller continues sending coordinates. Even with RTK (2cm accuracy), small oscillations occur.

  • The "Loop" Effect: In the provided screenshots (see image  and the white background trace), a "loop" or "square" pattern is visible at the transition point. This happens because the app records a cluster of points while the vehicle is idle.

  • Incorrect Extension: Since the auto-extension logic likely uses the last recorded point to determine the line's trajectory, the line snaps to a drift point instead of maintaining the straight path of the previous pass.

Solution

To minimize such issues, you need to follow these steps:

1. Start driving. After a few meters, press A.
2. While driving, press B for on end of the fields.

Problem fixed in 10.9.13
