Update Alg v3. Motor Speed mode to Position mode

Our development team has created a new navigation algorithm (Alg v3. Motor: Position mode) that calculates the navigation trajectory using only position data and applies it for steering.

This approach reduces the need for manual parameter adjustments in navigation, as motor aggressiveness will be calculated automatically.

Activating Algo V3 in Position Mode

To activate Algo V3 in position mode, ensure you have:

• Firmware version 2.2.8 or higher
• FieldBee app version 10.0.x or higher
• Toolbox app version 6.7.5 or higher

Case 1: Your Controller Runs Algo V2

If your controller currently uses Algo V2, you will see the following message in the FieldBee app:

1. Connect Controller 
2. My equipment shows message: "Algorithm 3 is now available for you!"
3. Tap "Update"

Once the update is complete, the controller will switch to Algo V3, Motor: Position Mode.

Case 2: Your Controller Runs Algo V3 in Speed Mode

How to check which mode your motor is in?

• When navigating with PowerSteer, if the Steering Adjust menu includes parameters such as Motor Aggressiveness, Tilt Compensation, and Line Acquisition, then your motor is in Speed Mode.
• Alternatively, you can check via the Toolbox app:
  Toolbox → Controller → PowerWheel

To switch to Position Mode:

1. Close the FieldBee app (swipe it away from the open apps list).
2. Open the Toolbox app and find your Controller.
3. Navigate to PowerWheel and tap it. Wait for feedback from the motor.
4. Tap Position Mode, then tap Set.

Once it is complete, the controller will switch to Algo V3, Motor: Position Mode.
