Sign in. First synchronization.

To log in, you have to be registered. You can sign into the app in two ways (Fig.1.2):

● E-mail, you enter your email, password, and tap "Sign In";
● GOOGLE, tap "Sign In with GOOGLE.”

Information
If you signed up with GOOGLE, and you'd like to log in with your email, you need to use the data from the Registration e-mail.

After that the synchronisation screen will appear. Please stay connected to the internet, it may take approximately 30 sec to 10 min depending on how much data you have stored in the app.

Synchronization

Synchronization means that your Android app and the server exchange data via internet to keep everything up to date.

It ensures that your settings, fields, tasks, routes and other data updates are the same on all connected devices. This helps you always work with the latest information and prevents data loss.

First synchronization is the initial data exchange between the Android app and the server after installation or login. During this process, the app downloads the latest settings, fields, tasks, routes and other data updates from the server.

User Data Types

User data is divided into two types:

  1. Persistent Data – Essential information that the system needs to function properly, including:

    • Fields, crops
    • Navigation lines
    • Vehicles, Implements
    • Notes
    • Materials
  2. Operational Data – Time-sensitive data that is useful for current tasks but may not be essential after a month, such as:

    • Daily tasks
    • Recent tracks

After logging into the FieldBee app, the first synchronization will begin.

We have improved the first synchronization process in the FieldBee Android app, and now you have three options:

Full Synchronization (All data since ...)

    • Syncs all persistent data and operational data from January 1st of the previous year up to the current date.
    • Example: If today is March 19, 2025, the app will sync data from January 1, 2024, to today.⚠ Due to Android device memory limitations, we cannot sync all user data at once.

Custom Synchronization

  • Allows the user to select a custom start date for syncing operational data (from the selected date to today).
  • Syncs all persistent data.
  • Syncs operational data only from the selected date onward, up to one year before today.

This flexible synchronization process ensures that you get the necessary data while optimizing device storage and performance.

Quick Synchronization or Custom Synchronization is often useful when syncing data directly in the field.

Forgot which date was selected for synchronization

If you have used one of these synchronization options but forgot which date was selected:

  1. Open the FieldBee app.
  2. Go to Settings in the side menu.
  3. Tap Sync Now.

In this dialog, you will see the synchronization date (Basic Synchronization).

⚠ To change the synchronization date, you need to Sign out and log back in to the app.

This ensures that your data is correctly updated based on your needs. 🚜📡
