PowerSteerReady. Before Connection

Connecting to the receiver and autosteer.

For general information about connecting receivers and autosteer controllers, please refer to the
"Connecting to the receiver and autosteer basics" section.

Further in this section, only the connection steps specific to the PowerSteer autosteer system are described.

Preparations Before Connection

Before starting the connection process, complete the following steps:

1. Install the Controller

   • Mount the Controller on the vehicle according to the installation instructions.
     

2. Power On the Controller

   • Switch on Controller.

   • Wait until it is ready for connection.

   • The status button will blink green when ready.
     
     

3. Check Firmware Version (via ToolBox)

   • Open the ToolBox application.

   • Verify that the Controller firmware version is 2.6.10.

   • Update the firmware if necessary.
     
     

4. Set Actuator Type (via ToolBox)

   • In the ToolBox menu, locate the Actuator Type setting.

   • Set the actuator type to SteerReady.

   
   

   

    

Check SteerReady subscription via FieldBee App

1. Open the FieldBee App.

1. Verify that PowerSteerReady functionality is activated. If it’s not, activate it in the Subscription settings.

All preparation steps are complete. You can now proceed to establish the connection between the Controller and the SteerReady tractor.
