Navigation settings

Navigation settings

The Navigation Settings allow user to fine-tune precision and automation features. Key options include navigation tolerance, sound/voice alerts, and an options to automatically turn off implements when out of the field. Additional settings include reverse movement recognition (Beta), a speed threshold for operations below 1 km/h, and Quick Start Mode. These settings help enhance precision and efficiency in navigation-based applications.

Navigation Tolerance.

Navigation Tolerance refers to the acceptable deviation from the navigation line that a system can tolerate while navigating. It defines how closely the system follows the planned route. A lower value means stricter adherence to the path, while a higher value allows for more flexibility in movement.

Default Value: 0.01m (1 cm)

The system allows a maximum deviation to 1m from the set path.

Sound and voice alerts.

Sound and voice alerts allow you to select which audio and voice alerts do you want to hear.

Deviation (Red) -  beeping sound if deviation from the line is ginificant.
Accuracy - voice notification when accuracy level have changed.
Implement lifted - voice notification when imlpement is lifted (covered area does not records).
Autosteer sounds - beeping sound if autosteer error occured.
Autosteer voice sounds - voice notification about autosteer statuts.

Deviation Type (avalible from v.10.6.6)

This parameter defines the method used to measure deviation from the set path:

Distance (XTD - Cross Track Distance). (Is used by Default.)
Measures the perpendicular distance from the current position to the planned route. It indicates how far the system has strayed from the ideal path.

Direction (XTE - Cross Track Error)
Represents the directional error or lateral offset from the navigation line, typically used for real-time course correction. Selecting the appropriate deviation type ensures precise navigation and optimal path-following performance.

Turn OFF Implement When Out of the Field (Enabled by Default) (last at 10.8.x)

This feature automatically deactivates the implement and stops the calculation of the covered area when the system detects that it has moved outside the field boundaries.

Once the implement returns within the field boundaries, it is automatically reactivated.

Implement Auto-Controll (10.9.x)

Reverse movement recognition (Beta)

This option enables and disables the feature of recognition when the vehicle is moving backwards if the reverse movement is detected - vehicle arrow color changes to blue and coverage area stops recording automaticaly. Improves heading stability preventing sudden heading changes in application caused by movement direction changes.

By default reverse movement recognition is OFF.

Note: Recomended to use with ECU-S1 system. Not recomended for Powersteer system.

Speed lower than 1km/h.

This option activates low speed mode that`s allows to enable autosteer on speeds lower than 1km/h and improves heading calculation on slow speed operation.

By default speed lower than 1km/h is OFF.

Note: ECU-S1 requires additional activation to operate on oeprate on speed lower than 0.8kmph.

Quick start mode.

Quick start mode provides a simplified application use experience. Minimizes track settings, to start navigation faster.
In quick start mode field selection, pattern, task, work area and uturn settings are not required to start navigation. Recommended for new and free app users.

By default quick start mode is DEACTIVATED.
